A memorable nine day trip on MV 'Spirit of the Solomons'. The highly volcanic Solomon Islands lie east of Papua New Guinea and were the site of bitter fighting in WWII. Visibility is often extraordinarily good. Pictures shot on film with Nikonos V and subsequently scanned.
